About Jennifer Brown

Hello, I’m Jennifer Brown, a caregiver, wife, and coach passionate about giving other caregivers the tools and support I needed during my caregiver journey.

I have a passion for helping individuals find their “light bulb moment” and make real change for the better.

Formerly an executive coach with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in I/O psychology, I brought a deep understanding of human behavior and organizational dynamics to my work.

My life completely and immediately changed when I was thrust into the primary caregiver role for my husband after heart surgery.

I learned how to help him physically, but the emotional toll of the process wore on me hard and honestly caught me off guard.

There is - rightly so - much deserved care and emphasis on the patient, but virtually no support for the caregiver.

I found myself isolated with no easily accessible community, and an emotionally strained relationship with my husband as we both coped with the healing process.

My light-bulb moment came after the recovery process when my husband asked “what if you had these coaching and mental toughness skills  right after the surgery?”

If I had a coach, I wouldn’t have felt like I was somehow failing. I would have had better tools to help during the marathon that is caregiving. I would have been able to show up as a more effective caregiver - more of who I truly am and less of the person just maintaining.

I use my personal experience combined with my approachability to guide caregivers through the process.

I partner with my clients, staying with them in the hard, giving them insights and tools to guide themselves through.
